Takashi Natsume has always been acutely aware of the supernatural world, but after inheriting a magical book from his grandmother, the supernatural world has become aware of him as well. Blessed with the ability to see the spirits and demons that remain hidden from the rest of humanity, Natsume has always felt set apart from others, drifting from one relative's home to another, never quite fitting in.

Now a troubled high school student, Natsume has come to live in the small town where his grandmother, Reiko, grew up. It is here that he discovers he has inherited more than just the Sight from his mysterious grandmother. Natsume receives a secondhand invitation to a gathering of antiques dealers and enthusiasts, unaware that this event is far from a mundane auction. As he arrives, Natsume finds himself surrounded by a diverse cast of characters, both friend and foe alike.

Suddenly, the entire building is locked down after a theft is discovered. Natsume must now rally his allies quickly before his adversaries make their move. With the supernatural world now intimately connected to his own, Natsume must navigate this delicate balance, utilizing his unique gift to protect himself and those he cares about.
